King of

the Valley

Originally conceieved as a sequal to The Evangelist, King of The Valley explores the life of a middle-aged widower with an adult son in college and an ailing father-in-law. He also faces the daily challenges of running a small succesful restaurant that is under attack by the local cartel that wants control over his business. Pablo must decide if he caves in to pressure, or if he will resist by reverting to his old ways as a hitman.

The Ministry

A Pastor and a Music Minister seek to lean into God's desire for "the Church", knowing that in order to reflect a more biblically accurate form of worship, they must break away from the norms of the twenty-first century of western congregations. Challenges arise both in ministry and in their personal lives as they confront the birth pains of growh and loss. Loving God and loving people while also sharing the good news of Christ leads them to a servanthood that they never imagined.

The Posession of Riley Marie Wagner

A local retired minister is sought out to help a local young woman who is believed to be possessed by an evil spirit. He is unsure however about the root of her self-destructive behavior and requests the assistance of a local well respected Psychologist.

Hasta Que La Muerte Nos Separe 

After entering the covenant of marriage to someone she believed was a Godly man, Carmela  finds out that her husband has been unfaithful with a co-worker. After being exposed, Joe's parents who also happen to be pastors of a local congregation question Carmela as to whether it was actually her who hasn't been a good wife and "forced" Joe to seek confort elsewhere. Carmela must decide if her self-worth is important enough to put above the facade of "the perfect marriage". Although Joe promises to leave his philanderig ways behind, Carmela suspects that he continues with his adulterous schemes. She decides to take matters into her own hands while underestimating the cost. Soon she is trapped in a world of blackmail and deception.

Haunted Valley

A young man and his family encounter one of the many spirits that lurk throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He and his family must confront the evil head-on in effort to be freed from its grip.

Haunted Valley is the first feature from director Juan Daniel Zavaleta to be produced in The South Texas Rio grande Valley.

Glorious

Glorious is a film based on a true story about a young man's journey from an abusive home and his involvement in gang violence that ultimately sets his path to an encounter with God's love, mercy, and forgiveness.

The Evangelist

Pablo (J. Salomé Martínez, Jr.) is a Bible-quoting hit man who works along side of his wise-cracking sidekick Pedro (Nicolas Guzmán).

The dual relish in their work and even offer their victims the opportunity to redeem themselves before terminating their life.

Conflict occurs when Pablo is asked to kill a local pastor whose community outreach is curtailing the neighborhood drug trade. The security of his family, his friendship to Pedro and his own life are threatened when Pablo has second thoughts about killing a Reverend.

Death Do Us Part 

After finding that her husband has been unfaithful, Carmela decides to take matters into her own hands while underestimating the cost. Soon she is trapped in a world of blackmail and deception.

Winner of the 'BEST FEATURE' award at the 2010 Naperville Independent Film Festival and was also nominated for 'Best Actress' and 'BEST DIRECTOR'. It also screened as part of the Chicago Latino Film Festival that same year.
